Christmas Cup of Tea

Soon it will be Christmas.
You know what that means.
The hustle and bustle is beginning to be noticed right here.
Remember, dear friends, to take a moment now and then,
for a cup of tea and a bit of a treat.
It doesn't have to be fancy.
Just look in your cupboard and find something sweet.
Enjoy a few minutes to just take a breath.
You will be glad you did and you know it is a gift to yourself.
So enjoy the day and have that cup of tea.
I am off now for my first cup of tea.
What will you put in your cup today?

I needed that reminder to sit and take a moment for myself, to unwind and relax, and have a treat that I deserve. A nice hot cup of orange pekoe is waiting for me!

Coffee with hazelnut creamer -or- peppermint tea...depends on the time of day! Thanks Marilyn for this gentle reminder. Your cup is just beautiful, love anything with Holly on it, my 21 year old daughter is Holly.
Happy Thursday!

Your holly berryand pinecone teacup with the gilt edges is really beautiful! I love taking time during the day to stop for a cup of tea. I can't always make it happen, but I sure enjoy it when I do.
