The grandmother of the groom I delighted in visiting with.
She had known my mother and my family, so it was wonderful to visit with her.
Yes, this was a family wedding and one I so enjoyed.
The day ended with cake and happiness.
Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me, have the heart of a wanderer, a storyteller.

Lovely!
And raindrops on the bride means luck you know ;-)
Marilyn, I just know you made the best of the situation despite rather inclement weather for an outdoor wedding. It looked really beautiful in that setting though. Wellies would have been appropriate footwear perhaps, and umbrellas rather than parasols I guess!
Lovely you met some family members. Beautiful flowers, and love the simplicity of the cake, quite old-fashioned and special.
Happy day dear friend - busy day here.

Beautiful place for a wedding, I love to sit and stare at the water..so peaceful.
So happy that the rain held off, as long as it did. Pretty pictures were able to be taken.
And with the tent, the festivities could go on, unhampered by the rains.
What a lovely family event. And memories made, by all.

What stunning photos of a lovely wedding! Gorgeous venue, our Oregon liquid "sunshine" is what makes everything so pretty and green. ;) Best wishes to the newlyweds!
It does look like it was just beautiful! Love those flowers and the "candy bar." I'm so very glad you had a tent available! Isn't it wonderful to spend time with someone who knew your mom?
The clouds make the colors even more vivid!
Such a beautiful place for a wedding!
Wow.... what a beautiful setting for a wedding! Thank you for sharing all the lovely photos!
Beautiful pictures of a glorious love-filled day.
Love Gail
peace....
Rain is supposed to bring luck and bless a wedding. It rained on our day, and we've celebrated 30 years now.
Wishing as many for them.

Wow! What a setting!
What a beautiful place for a wedding...despite the rain.
Beautiful place - beautiful wedding! Looks it may have been at Belknap Hot Springs on the McKenzie.

I just love weddings! What a joyous celebration this was.
Everything about it made it a memorable day for all. You captured all of the details with great flair.
Love the s'mores station. Did you enjoy a gooey treat? What fun.
Have a happy day,
Mary Jane
