Victoria, B.C.

This is the second time we have stayed at this B&B and we just love this room tucked
in the back.  We have to walk through the garden to access it.  There is the sweet patio just
outside our door and a spa inside.  It is really a treat to stay here.
The walk to our room.

What a gorgeous neighborhood too.
The first evening we went walking and discovered this fairy tree.
What you see here is about 5% of what was on and around the tree.
While we stopped there a tour bus came by and actually stopped for people to see it.
Then we walked to the Government House and Gardens.
Isn't that tree amazing?
The gardens were still gorgeous with roses, hydrangeas, dahlias,
and so many more flowers still in bloom.
The trellis must be beautiful when in bloom with roses.
The statue is of the first Governor Douglas of Victoria, B.C.
I just loved the sunshine and shadows of the late afternoon
on this flower.

Victoria, B.C. is definitely a lovely place to visit.
Next week I will share just a bit of Butchart Gardens and the Butterfly Gardens.

Happy dreaming and weekend, dear friends!
I am off to the NW Tea Festival today in Seattle.

Enjoy your time at the tea festival. That fairy tree is wonderful - I'm going to look for it! Government House gardens is a favorite place to walk, especially in the springtime.

So beautiful. Victoria's Chamber of Commerce should hire you!

What a grant time you will have at the tea festival! I have good friends heading to Seattle for a business meeting. I'm going to email Lin and tell her about that one! She's a tea fan, too!

Oh Marilyn - what a gorgeous place to stay!
The fairy tree is beautiful - tells me there are more people like you and me who love fairies!!!
The rose arbour walk is lovely - an evening walk when the perfumed roses are in bloom would be magical!
