"What good is the warmth of summer
without the cold of winter
to give it sweetness."
~John Steinbeck
Isn't that a great quote!?
I struggle in January and February every year
just to get through them.
I light candles
Add twinkly lights
Sip lots of hot tea
and
Buy flowers at the market
What do you do to get through the dark days and nights of winter?
Do you focus on the "sweetness" of the seasons?
Have a great weekend, dear friends!
Let's all focus on the light and the glory of winter.
I am trying!

Lovely! I get by with tea, flowers and a little help from my friends! xoxo
I do exactly what you do -- lights and flowers and tea! And it really does help!
Your flowers are so pretty. I don't mind the Winter season so long as it's not icy under foot on the pavements. Being snowed in on our high ground is more of a problem, but we have to expect that at any time in January/February. My dear husband and I stay indoors thankful for a warm house.
So very sweet!
