Add a Little Humor!

Visiting Camas Antiques recently I found this table display, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I wanted to buy the teapot, but the spout was damaged.
Sometimes it is just fun to enjoy the view.
The funny thing about this display was a sink in the middle of the table.
Can you see it?
What do you think?
Someone definitely had a sense of humor when they put the display together.
And then there is the babe and Mary in a cage.
My goodness, but I do love humor.
We all need more of it in our lives.
Add a touch of humor, laughter, and smiles to your holiday season.
How would you do that?

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friends!
Add a little humor, laughter, and mix it with smiles.

I love this display! It's incredibly fun! The sink is very cool and I love the tree in the cup.

My Mary is in a cage, too. Wonder why -- in my case, she's the tallest, skinniest thing I have, besides the cage, which is slightly taller and a little bit rounder!

I love this display. The teapot is gorgeous but it's sad that it was damaged. I can imagine it would make a nice addition to teatime. We do need laughter and a bit of whimsy and joy. I have a feeling Mary and the Babe are in the cage because they were the only thing the vendor could find that fit in there! Maybe not, but we can imagine!

Love the sink! Anything to make a person smile is wonderful! Life needs to have a bit of whimsy. Hopped over from Bernideens.

I love blue transfer printed china and collect it, mostly odd items. Some red and white also. I think I would have bought the teapot even if it did have some damage and use it as an ornament. Such a teapot is harder to find over here in a regular thrift or vintage shop. I would have rescued Mary and the Babe from that cage! Vintage pieces are to be loved and cherished. Wishing you a good weekend Marilyn.

Marilyn, I come from a long line of blue and white china fans. Alas, I can find room for no more at this time, so I just enjoy looking at pictures of it! And I love that sweet little sink! Great idea!

I visited Camas Antiques last November when we were there. No sinks in the middle of the table, but lots of pretty things. A little whimsy or humor is a good thing in decorating!
