Yearn for Travel

There is nothing (beside holding my grandson and being with family and friends)
that brings me more JOY than travel.
I look forward to it.
I dream of it.
I yearn for the opportunity to fly somewhere special.
Just the dreaming makes my heart sing.
This year I realized it was important to stay closer to home.
It was difficult for me to accept.
So travels will be in my part of the world.
The coming weekend will be my first of small adventures.
I can't wait.
I am treating myself to a special gift.
More to come on my return.
In the meantime, ENJOY these photos from a past adventure to France.
Tell me if you could travel anywhere, even if it is a dream, where would it be?

Be back Tuesday!

I'm very eager to hear about your adventure! (I have a clue, I think!) These photos are lovely -- some bring back memories and others remind me that I haven't even started to exhaust what that country has to go. Dying to get to England again too. Or somewhere warm! Enjoy!

Enjoy your weekend jaunt dear friend - who knows maybe one day you will come and see my country!

Adventures close to home can be special, too, and I hope yours will be!

Lovely photos of your trip to France. Have a good time on your upcoming trip. We'll all be anxious to read where you went. Wishing you safe travels! ~ Phyllis

P.S. If I could board a plane to go anywhere in the world, I would return to England. I love it there.

HI - great pictures of your trip t FRance and of YOU! :-) Looking forward to reading about and "seeing" your adventure. I must keep my travels pretty close to home. Some times 'traveling' to the lower deck or the woods in the front yard prove to be quite and adventure,or a short drive to the waters edge. We are traveling to Brooklyn on the 22nd for my son's b'day - that is a 2 hour adventure for me!! But if I could travel any where, I would go to Alaska.
Love Gail
peace.......

I too love travel. Our next jaunt is to Brussels, where my daughter is presently working. We're hoping in the Spring. Can't wait, and can't wait to see what local travel you do, I remember that beautiful mansion you shared with us a while back.

That's a great picture of you here, Marilyn, and I can't wait to hear about your latest travels! My dream trip at the moment is Italy. Think I'll just go eat some spaghetti instead. ;)

Beautiful pictures Marilyn. I love the hot air balloon. That would be a dream, going for a ride in one. of course, I'm afraid of heights. But if I could, it's always been a dream of mine. Hope you're having fun!
