Late Summer Color

Adventure is always the best.
It makes my heart sing.
Seeing the colors of the season brings great JOY.
From rosehips, acorns, red chairs, and zinnias too.
The pink flower I wasn't sure what it was,
but is was soft and lacy and a delight to the eyes.
Most of all I just loved the warmth of a walk in the afternoon
with white fluffy clouds in a beautiful blue sky.
Oh yes, adventure on a warm summer day
sings of DELIGHT to my soul.

You were in VERY pretty country! Love all the views. Sigh. Travel -- it's wonderful, isn't it?

very pretty, I love fall and all it's color, but it is a little sad to see summer and it's beauty go!

The landscape is still so beautiful in its late summer glory. Love that deep pink flower.

Beautiful natural moments... *sigh*... This time of year is so fascinating as summer winds down and autumn blends in... Hope you had a great time away, Marilyn! Our little staycation time at home this week hasn't gone eactly to plan, and I've not been well. Better luck next break... LOL! ((HUGS))

What a beautiful area, you live in... And such lovely photos, you show us, of it.

Isn't a day like this, perfection?!? Making us wish that all days could be, like this one...

But if they were, would we appreciate them as much?

I doubt it. :-)

I'm having a hard time with late summer color because I know what comes after. This is simply beautiful country, Marilyn. Very lush. Quite perfect!

Nothing prettier than a view with water peeking through the trees - love this.
