London

Now you thought I was going to write about London, England, didn't you?
No, London is a very special dog.
He was adopted by a Franny, a friend with a big heart.
I have been following them on Facebook the past year.
Saturday when I saw they were in my neighborhood
I grabbed my jacket and camera and off I went to find them.
I wanted to meet London.
He was playing in the gym with children in wheel chairs.
They were delighted to see him there.
To learn London's story, click on the link here:
I must say, he is more handsome in person,
The way he moves you can almost forget
he is handicapped.
I was impressed.

Lovely story, inspirational and heartwarming.

And I just noticed your sidebar---years and years ago, the comic strip dog Marmaduke got a new adopted Great Dane Sweetheart, and the paper held a contest to name her.

The winning name was Marmalady.
