Merry Christmas!

Santa will soon have made his deliveries.
Now it is time to rest and sip on some peppermint tea.
Take care dear friends.
I hope you have some quiet moments for reflection
and to gather with friends and family.
Merry Christmas to each one of you!
I will return here on Tuesday to begin our walk to 2018.

Dearest Marilyn - my thoughts are with you, J, and your family at this special time of year. It's been incredibly busy for me - being away on the cruise and then in England for the holidays last year now seems so much easier than staying here at home! I am however enjoying the run-up to Christmas and will enjoy perhaps the time between now and the start of the new year even more. We have no snow, I still have more baking for Christmas Eve, my family continues to be scattered and some members I'll not hear from - however I have my wonderful Bob, my cottage, good neighbors, my health and ability to get around. . . . . and an exciting trip coming up in March!
I'll try to do better commenting after the holidays - I read and enjoy all your posts and count you among my dearest friends - just hope we can meet up again in person some day soon.
Bob joins me in wishing you and J a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS and may 2018 be a great year for us all.
Love and hugs - Mary XX

Dear Marilyn. I'm very thankful that you are ready for the Christmas celebrations with your husband. When you visit my blog you'll see that the beautiful angel that you gave us is hanging on the tree along with all the other special ornaments that mean so much to us. Now my husband and I continue to think of you and wish you and your loved ones a blessed, peaceful Christmas.

A wonderful image (is this by your son?) and it so captures the season. I love the words you chose as well.

Wishing you all a joyful Christmas filled with love, hope, happiness and joy!

My son got me some apple cinnamon spice tea and chamomile vanilla tea for Christmas. I really liked the spice one.
