Colors of Autumn

Pears are ready to harvest here in Oregon.
The color of this pear is amazing and reminds me of Autumn.
The tomato is the largest one from our garden this year.
Both the pear and tomato tasted wonderful,
just the right flavor for the season.

What flavors are you enjoying this Autumn season?

I love all your choices here. + squash, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, mmmmmm, can't wait for a root vegetable soup. Must replace all those lovely berries and sunshine with wind, leaves and warm fires. I can do that.

Bet that gorgeous whopper tomato made a tasty sandwich!!

I love pears - especially baked into my French upside- down style gateau - that pink one is so pretty.

I'm still enjoying soft fruits - raspberries being my always favorite - and now some mountain apples just arriving from the western NC orchards.

Love Autumn so much.

When I went away, it was still summer - and hot! Now I've returned to find fall in full action. I love fall! Those colors are beautiful.

Still no sign of Fall color in So CA; it's all still green in my backyard/ the usual dry & brown on the hills surrounding us. So I'm enjoying seeing your Fall colors.

I'm craving a juicy fresh picked tomato sandwich after seeing your photo. Maybe I'll make some pumpkin cake or try baking pear scones (never tried that).

Pumpkin Funland sounds interesing. Your fall colors photos are great.

You know, I used to hate orange and yellow. Then, one autumn I looked, really looked around and fell in love. In fact, today I have on a gorgeous orange top. I love your colors of autumn, too.

These colors are splendid! Like you, I am still enjoying tomatoes. Soon, pumpkin and squash. And meatloaf. It's a fall food!
