A Cup of Christmas Cheer

On Sunday I attended the open house at Deepwood Estate in Salem, Oregon
Suddenly before my camera's eye appeared this beautiful teacup all adorned with Christmas cheer.
Isn't it amazing how a tea lover can find any opportunity to decorate with a teacup or teapot.
I wondered who the tea lover there was, but didn't ask.  I just enjoyed seeing it there.

As I have browsed blogs and pinterest recently there have been others that have
adorned their teacups with Christmas cheer.
They just make me smile.

Here are a couple links that have shared their Christmas cheer in a teacup.

Scroll down to the Advent Sunday post, I just loved the candle clipped to the saucer.

My own cup of Christmas cheer.

Take time to enjoy the holiday season with Christmas cheer.

I love these teacups in their finery for Christmas! This year I realized that I don't have any holiday teacups. I have 'holly' Christmas mugs but no teacups. I'm on a mission through the next year to remedy the problem! Thanks for the encouragement with your photos!

How pretty Marilyn, it gives me ideas to decorate my cups and saucers displayed on a long shelf in my kitchen. I never would have thought they could be such beautiful Christmas decorations.

I can see you have a tea cup for every occasion, Marilyn. Your cup decorated with baubles and a candle is very pretty.

VERY PRETTY, Marilyn! And what a nice way to decorate festively in a different way. Those blue baubles are wonderful color! Oh, and LOVED the post with Joey and the train the other day--too cute! :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

I love how teacups are bi-functional. They're great for sipping tea, and great for home decor. I received a floral arrangement in a teacup this year and have been enjoying the Christmas cheer it provides.

That's a great idea. I might have to dig out and try that!

OK, now I will be on the lookout for tiny Christmas balls to fill teacups next year!
