LaTeaDa Tea Room

Whenever I head to the beach a stop at LaTeaDa Tea Room
makes it oh so better.
It is like the cherry on the top of an already special day.
So last week I stopped for a sip of English Breakfast tea
and a 3-tier goodies delight.
Pineapple sorbet began the treats,
of course this was just to cleanse the palate.
Yummmm!
And then all this goodness was placed before me.
Can you believe that was just for me?
Should we start with the sweets first?
Wonderful fall delights were boxed up and taken
along because I was full from the savories and sandwiches.
And there is that cherry on top.
There were bacon wraps, egg salad, chicken salad,
turkey with cranberries, a puff of veggie delight,
sharp cheddar, and a fruit salad on raisin bread.
This is always my favorite course,
so I savored each bite.
All was delicious!
Just had to share this gurgling water pitcher.
Yes, it did gurgle just for me.
Did I tell you there were two scones each.
I ate the cheddar with raspberry jam
and saved the cranberry one for later.
They were so flaky and good.

LaTeaDa Tea Room changed owners at the beginning of this year.
I was curious to see what changes might have been made.
Other than a bit of re-arranging and a new menu each
month, it has remained the same delicious spot in the
day when headed to the beach.
Thanks Glenda for taking the time to chat.
I recommend making reservations.

What a delightful tea room to visit! I am so glad you shared your experience with us. The three tiered server was dressed with the most tempting foods! A great way to enjoy yourself by dining on part of the goodies and carrying the desserts home. Your photos created the perfect scene for us to also enjoy. Thanks for sharing!

I'm like you, I focus on the sandwiches and savories. I also like scones, but I always take the desserts home for my husband as I'm just not that into them.

I'd be happy with just the sorbet but everything looks delicious! I love the savories. Oh, I'd love it all! Another thing for my if-I'm-ever-in-the-hood list!

Marilyn, not sure what you meant by "does she have a name?" The statue is of our blessed Mother Mary, and my friend's name who bought me the statue is Anne. I didn't want her to spend that much on me, but she reminded me that it was for the church.

What a gorgeous Purple tea cup and tea cozy. And the tea sandwiches and desserts look amazing. You always make me want to go to a tea room with your posts, Marilyn.

What a great treat! Can almost taste everything through the photos... and it's making me hungry... LOL! Such a pretty place too--lovely attention to decoration and details. A gurlging water pitcher?! Don't think I've ever seen one of those... How does it work, a battery somewhere, maybe?! Very fun... :) ((HUGS))

What a wonderful afternoon tea. I'm also loving the beautiful teacup with violets. I wished that I live closer so I can visit LaTeaDa.

Yum! And you look smashing too, by the way. Your scarf/wrap looks so sophisticated ... just perfect for a teatime in the fall.
