Fantasy Tea Party at the Beach

Do you ever dream of running away? Joining the circus?
This is my dream
to run away, living on the beach with a cute vintage trailer like this.
Life would be simple.  Some days we need simple.
Thanks to Di at designers block for sharing the first two pictures with me.
When I saw these pictures my heart leaped for JOY.
This is my fantasy.
Tea on the beach, soaking in the sunshine, and
listening to the waves.
Last Sunday, this was my day at the beach.
The sun was glorious and my heart leaped with JOY.
What is your fantasy?

I'll have to think about my fantasy for awhile --- but yours is lovely! Once when we camped at Death Valley we had neighbors who were traveling in a trailer like your picture shows. It was so cute! I loved it and it looked like they were having a great time!

How lovely indeed and Yes we all need an escape.

Some of my finest days were beach days long and lingering and of much more simple times
I love your peaceful afternoons quote
I love you

Through the beauty of your blog and the magic of iTunes, I was listening to Ella Fitzgerald sing "Summertime and the Living is Easy" while taking this in! Tea in a camper by the sea...easy, delicious.

Thank you!

Wow, that adorable little trailer does indeed look like a fantasy! I'd like to have some tea and curl up and take a lovely little nap in there :o)

I SO WANT THIS CAMPER!!! I'll have to put it on my vision board! Aside from that my fantasy would be to go to a fancy bed and breakfast, and be treated like royalty for a day.

This is my dream too, Marilyn. I've even gone shopping for a little used trailer and checked into places where I could park it along the coast. Wouldn't this be wonderful? The little trailer in the pictue is just what I imagine.

Marilyn

Same as yours! Plus I would dream of having Jim Rockford (James Garner, younger) as a neighbor.

Ok, this wasn't my dream, but I may just trade mine in for yours. Actually, my dream is very similar though my abode is a vintage airstream and it's location is Colorado. In my dream, we have to rent a storage unit for all the books. And we have a dog. A big one.

Tea and Beach-two of my favorite things! This reminds me of a little trailer park that used to be right on the beach just north of Laguna Beach, California-where I lived while attending college at Cal State Fullerton! The view from their trailers must have been spectacular. Thanks for the pictures.

Where is my fantasy? Right next to you for a walk on the beach. We are heading back to MY lighthouse home - tea for you, coffee for me.

I have to admit I've never thought of tea at the beach unless it was an iced tea... but anything to do with me at the beach in the sun, sand and sea... that is the fantasy for me!

Yesterday we visited Vashon Island and my fantasy was moving there. My husband doesn't think it is his cup of tea. I can still dream...

What a neat post! Cute pictures! I live only miles from the Atlantic ocean and have never had tea there, good idea, maybe we'll do this sometime (will wait for cooler weather!)

Tea by the Sea!

This has been my fantasy for quite a while now. A sweet trailer I can haul across the land, a cat next to me, nights in the desert, days by the sea, time on the backroads. My boyfriend keeps telling me I need a bigger SUV. One of these days . . .

It's rainy here today and I'm drinking my cuppa. Wish I was in the first photo here. ;)

Hope you are doing well.

OMG! I wanted to die when I saw your first photo. I thought it came out of our family photo album. We had a trailer that looked almost exactly like that, except it had a peaked roof. It also had the canvas awning that slipped into the groove on the side of the camper and identical red little curtains with tiebacks. We drove across America in it when we first arrived in 1966.

I love the wallpaper and the perfectly matched yet mismatched tea set with it.

Living on the beach sounds quite fun, especially since I adore the water (and get to go to the beach next week myself)! And I have a feeling you WILL find a way to make your fantasy happen. Is it bad that my fantasy keeps changing as I get older?

By the way, you had asked about my tea garden ... well, I'm still researching what will grow in that tiny spot, but so far I'm growing cup and saucer vine and several kinds of mint. I also want some perennials and maybe a rose or two for "atmosphere," all growing with or in teapot/teacup planters. I'm tickled to have a tea-lover friend who is a gardening kindred spirit!

oh swoon !
the beach and tea and a tiny trailer and you to walk with and talk with.....

oh and of course we'd take photos, too !

Oh, I think I want a cute, little trailer just like this one! I would love to have a small trailer that I could pull by myself and go to the beach or the mountains for quiet, just-me, time! If I had one it would definitely look much like this one. Thanks for sharing it with us. Are there more photos of this for us to see somewhere?
