Magical Signs of Spring

One of the most tragic things I know
about human nature is that all of us
tend to put off living.
We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden
over the horizon, instead of enjoying
the roses blooming outside our windows today."
~ Dale Carnegie ~
Only one bedraggled rose blooming outside my window today.
The One Word photo yesterday and the crocus above is what I found when I went searching in my yard this past weekend.  The daphne in the top right corner is just about ready to open it's sweet faces too.  This time of year is always so delightful to go on the search and to notice what is just outside my window.
Finding yellow crocus blooming is indeed magical!

We haven't even had winter yet. So weird! It was 57 degrees today. NOT normal for winter in Missouri, I tell you.

I'm glad spring flowers are poking their heads above ground in your area. We have snow covered lawns in Michigan and spring is a long way off.

Lovely! Before heading out I paused outside my front door this morning to check on the progress of things, and I do believe a hyacinth is popping up!

That quote about putting off living -- I've been thinking a lot about that one lately. Sort of going through a mental makeover with my physical maladies. Lovely images for this!

It always surprises me at how much earlier your springtime is than ours. Guess it shouldn't be a surprise, but it is. Just snow dusting our gardens right now.
