Tasting Tea in the Garden

By now if you have visited my Delights of the Heart before
you know I love having tea outdoors.
Sunday there were twelve sharing tea in my garden
and last evening there were four of us sipping and tasting.
What a treat it is to share tea with friends.
The photo above was from the gathering on Sunday,
my WuWo Tea Ceremony setting.
It is always fun to try to guess what tea your friends has served you.
Then last evening my friend, Geoff, and his mom came by to taste some
new teas from the World Tea Expo, which took place in Las Vegas in June.
He brought a 2nd flush Darjeeling, Rung Meet 2015 and
a Russian black tea.  Both very good, but the tea that totally
delighted my taste buds was a Taiwan Dark Tea from Alishan region,
Tsou-Vayiyann .  I had never tasted a dark tea from Taiwan and
my explanation of the flavor was "it tastes like candy", maybe even
a bit of cotton candy.  What a treat for an evening of sipping with friends.

So you see the sipping continues in my garden this week.
I hope you are finding opportunities to sip in the garden.

I'm trying to think if I've ever had tea in a garden. Anyone's garden. You make it look like the best of things to do!
