Boerner Botanical Gardens

Boerner Botanical Gardens was an afternoon delight.
Located in Whitnall Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
A living museum of gardens full of roses, herbs, annual and perennial flowers.
In the spring there is also a peony garden.
There were the largest butterflies I have ever seen.
Definitely worth a walk in the garden.

That is a pretty garden photo collage. That butterfly sculpture is impressive.

Wish my garden was that lovely! right now I'm having to cut it all back as the cottage is being painted!

Oh, my daughter would love to scramble all over that butterfly. What great pictures we'd take.

My nephew lives just outside Milwaukee in a little town called Port Washington. A trip into Milwaukee is always on the agenda, and this park is going on to that! Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures!

Yay! My DH heard about this place and suggested we go on our next trip to Wisconsin. Thanks for the preview!
