Nite, Nite Garden House

Our sweet garden house remembrance.
A time when sleeping there.
The morning light did delight.
The sounds of nature all around.
But oh that train not far away
did make a noise not quite so pleasant.
It was fun to sleep in the garden house.
Now plants reside there with
potting soil and tools.
I am thankful for these photos
to remind me of a time when it was filled
with the night songs of birds and sleep.

The photos have been shared before,
but I love remembering once upon a time.
Dreaming of a time again when the garden house
is full of love and friends again.

Such delight, delight, delight --- even the train. All the nights sounds, the morning light, and crickets sounding in the night. And then a nap in the house in the afternoon --- just for good measure.

Hello Marilyn,

How delightful it would be to spend a night or two in your charming garden house. Can there be anything more romantic than a night spent under the stars in such lovely surroundings? We are certain that your guests would be thrilled to find themselves accommodated here.

That must be a really wonderful experience to sleep in a garden house/green house--seeing stars above at night, and waking up to windows all over, and light... *sigh*... You've created a lovely space to rest and dream in, Marilyn! LOVE that quilt! We're heading Stateside for a couple of weeks to see my family. I'll be offline mostly during that time, but will look forward to being back around blogland soon. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
