What color makes you feel warm and happy when you see it?
Red is my warm and happy color
My car is red
There is red in my garden
One of the few colors in my closet is red
And there are touches of red around my home
Red makes me happy
It cheers my soul
When I was a child all the girls chose pink for their color;
so I picked yellow. Yes, I had to be different.
For many years it was yellow
and I still have a fondness for the color;
but red just sings to me,
it makes me laugh and smile.
Can you see in some of the photos how it just
jumps out and grabs you.
It says "see me"!
Every where I go, I notice you, dear red!

I feel the same about purple. It makes me so very happy.
When I was a little girl, my fav color was yellow too! I don't remember what other's colors were.
For a long time, I have loved all shades of rose, pink, cranberry, wine, etc. Warm colors. A range of them. And I have the wallpaper and walls, to show it. :-))))
We both resonate with warmmmmmmmmm......
My happy color is yellow. Bright yellow. Or bright pink. But my favorite color is aqua/turquoise
So many happy colors! I seem to love them all but especially in certain seasons!
Marilyn, we must be kindred spirits - Red makes my heart sing too. Well, for starters, you know the name of our blog. I have to stop for red flowers and red birds, and I think that's one of the reasons I love Valentine décor so much.....all that RED! I love that first picture of the angel and the red heart. These are unique and striking pictures.

ps.....RED makes me happy and really gets to me, but PURPLE is actually my favorite color. It's mysterious and beautiful to me. : )
