Pink, pink!

I finally found my pink teacup.
Isn't she sweet?
At least that is what the antique dealer said.
I sort of think so too.
She is a soft pink all over and then
to add pleasure to the soft pink,
there are different shades of pink flowers
and did I almost forget to say even a yellow
flower is displayed there.
Inside the cup is the tiniest gold leaf,
it just shines.

It says Leneiga with a gold crown under it.
Research doesn't indicate it as valuable,
but I think it is pretty and it will sit proudly on my shelf.
It will be pure JOY to drink from, my sweet, pink teacup.

Lovely teacup, Marilyn. It's a treat to drink from something that pretty.

The macarons at PIX are delicious! I occasionally buy a few when I'm in that part of town. It's normally a very long drive for me.

I am so happy you found your longed-for pink teacup! Such a pretty shape. And I'm like you in that I don't really worry about "value" because the value is the joy it brings to ME (or YOU, in this case!). Congrats!
