Autumn Tea Time

One final tea time in the garden.
Celebrating Autumn with a cup of Yunnan Gold, black tea and fig cake. Figs from the garden.

In the basket is bounty from the garden.

Thanks, Nancy, for the delicious cake recipe.  What a perfect way to use my surplus fig supply.
The teapot belonged to my mother-in-law
and the thermos holding the flowers belonged to my grandfather.
Enjoy a special Autumn weekend, dear friends!
Sip a cup of tea and delight in the changing colors.

Oh so cozy Marilyn. We used to have a fig tree. My husband loved them, and the cake looks wonderful. I I do love your teapot! Sounds like it's back to normal fall tomorrow...enjoy the garden while we can!

Oh, I love your Autumn tea time in the garden. Your chairs are even the colors of Fall. The tea pot and thermos are treasured gifts for sure. That fig cake looks scrumptious, and that's so nice that you made it with the figs from your garden. I love tea time with you, Marilyn. Do you ever have it in the winter months outside, or is it too cold where you live?
