Thank you for your thoughtful comment, and I just want to add that indeed she has survived. On an impulse I called the hospital and they told me she is fine and will be leaving today. Where will she go, will she go back to the house with the dangerous husband? That is a question I will be thinking about on my trip to the north of the country. Talk about life imitating art...
Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me.

Those writings on the sidewalk illuminate the world. How "prescious" they are, indeed.
Awesome!
Thank you for this post. It did my heart good.
Awww... that is so sweet. Makes me wonder what the story was behind it.
Appreciate your sweet and important chalk message.
God bless you!
And may you have a restful rest of the summer.

We really should write more like this to each other.
So sweet! I like finding messages written in sidewalk chalk.
Oh, what a unique sweet reminder.
Don't you just want to track down the person who wrote those messages and give them a huge squeeze? I just love people like that.
