Sing, Sing a Song

When my children were young, my daughter just reminded me, I sang this song often.  Listening to it yesterday, it once again made my heart sing.  Sadly Karen Carpenter left us too soon, but this song still rests in my heart.  I hope it brings a smile to your face today.  Sending great love and a song for you today.

I still miss the Carpenters. And my husband thinks I am nuts for this, but one of my all-time favorite movie scenes is in "Tommy Boy" when David Spade and Chris Farley are driving down the road and bawling their eyes out while singing "Superstar" by the Carpenters!

I love the Carpenters. Love them. Have you ever heard his interview with Terry Gross? It's wonderful. I bet you could still find it on NPR.
