Sudden Delights

Sudden delights surprise me
Like the purr of a kitten nearby as I touch it gently with my hand.
The call of a friend who joins me for a walk in the park.
A blossom you find together that you have never seen before
or the sunshine peeking, just peeking through the clouds.
The surprise of discovering a rainbow.
The touch of a smile from a stranger as you pass by.

What sudden delights make your heart sing today?
Notice what you notice

My delights today -- looking forard to dinner with a friend; finding out my car repair isn't so much as I thought it might be; discovering I lost 2.2 pounds at Weight Watchers this week; not fully adjusting to 'falling back' so I'm getting up earlier and doing more and the sun is out and it's warm! Works for me!

Coming home after a long day, dragging myself up the stairs, and catching a wave of homemade soup--onions, garlic, tomatoes, squashes simmering. Then open the door and it's our house that sends those delicious waves!

Hello Marilyn,

Such a lovely post dear friend. Your photo is just beautiful.

A sudden delight for me today was the gentle cool breeze that blew through my window.

Hope you are enjoying a lovely week.

Smiles♥

Lovely moments, Marilyn! Snow is the delight today--first snow of the season drifting yesterday into today, waking up to a white world--very magical! :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
