How beautiful Marilyn, being surrounded by the Great Lakes, the sound has always been so soothing. I can't wait to be able to walk the beach again and listen.
I think we all have a sound that delights us. For me it would be the chirpping of the birds early in the morning reminding me that it is indeed a new day. I will be visiting the ocean soon and will be listening for that song.
Love, Love, Love the daffodils. Are they blooming already in your yard?

In reading your last few posts, I just had to stop at this one. Is that a whale I see here? Did you hear it? It's amazingly close to the coast, or is that an island? Please, I want to know more!
Many things bring great delight to me: tea, gardens, flowers, outdoors, food, and friends that cross my path. These all make my heart sing with small chuckles, giggles, laughter, and tears. It is my desire to seek beauty all around me.

My heart sings this song, too!

Lovely!
Oh I love the sound of the ocean! Soooooo beautiful.
I love the way Mary Oliver writes things that speak for so many of us.
What a great photo. How wonderful to live close to the coast.

Yes, indeed. That's how I feel when we go to South Carolina -- I could listen to the ocean forever.
How exquisite is everything you share
Love you
Jeanne
I am headed to the beach next week, so this photo is definitely singing to me!
