My 2012 Vision Board

After my post yesterday I realized there might be some that don't know what a vision board it.
Here is my vision board for 2012.
It isn't that pretty, but what is on it means something to me for this year.
It gives a focus.  My word for the year is there too.
At the beginning of each year a group of women friends get together to make their vision boards.
It is a fun gathering filled with things to drink and munchies,
talk, laughter, and cutting things out of magazines.
At the end of the day we share our vision for the coming year.
We are encouraged to put a picture of ourselves on the board.
You see I am dancing in my pink tutu.
The map represents planned travel.
There is always tea.
I won't explain each thing because some are personal just for me,
but it should give you an idea what I have in my heart for 2012.

You know what really touched me about this, Marilyn? It was the statement "At the beginning of each year a group of women friends get together to make their vision boards". If I were local, I know where I would want to be at least once a year. I suspect you and your friends gather many more times than that, though. Happy 2012 vision.

Very nice! I enjoyed looking at your vision board and finding so many things that I recognized in you. This is a great idea and I love that you do it with friends. My word-of-the-year isn't working out very well (I didn't choose a word I loved, but one I felt I needed). The vision board expands horizons and I think would be a good start for me. Thank you for sharing! You always inspire me!

My daughter Angela teaches classes on vision boards to businesses and companies. I did one a while back and most everything has come true for me. I wish you all that you in vision in 2012.

That's a great idea, and lots of fun to do this with some good friends, I imagine. Thanks for the introduction to vision boards. I didn't know about them before.

I have a friend who has his fourth graders make Vision Boards. I love yours.

My verification word is "pasts" and I love that this word I will write is on a post about your future!

This is such an inspiration!
I only just recently learned of vision boards, and have toyed with creating one for myself as I create a new and different life for myself. I see alot of fun, sharing and introspection in your board- thank you for sharing this intimate part of yourself.

Hi Marilyn,

I love your vision board! What a wonderful way to capture your 2012 goals and desires. I actually purchased a beautiful framed cork board with Eiffel Tower push pins over the weekend. This will be a inspiration board for my 2012 Paris trip. Dare to dream!

Marilyn, you keep on dancing and sharing your passion! You're a inspiration to us all!

Blessings, Darlene

Such fun that you're shared this with us, and I think your vision board is wonderful and BEAUTIFUL, Marilyn! I really like this, "I dance daily, watched or not"!! Would you believe I've not made my vision board yet?! No, I'm picking through images/text and wanting to do a body map & vision board combo. I think I need to pair things down a bit though, as this might get big... LOL... Happy Day ((HUGS))

Your savory tart looks beautiful, Marilyn.
Isn't it fun to make something that is pure delight for friends! I love the idea of the poppy seeds in the crust.

What a great idea - almost like the design board I put together before working on a decorating project, which of course is not happening these days because I can't stay home long enough!!

Love this Marilyn - and I see you dancing there!
