Sittn' in the Light

Sweet Chrysanthemum
Pink Delight brings great JOY.
It's sittn' in the light.
God's light shines down on it
and it is glorious!

Anticipating the holidays and
bursting with laughter of time spent with family and friends.

Do you have plans this week that involve
family and friends?
Oh, do tell.
The time is near for turkey, then mistletoe.

Beautiful! My sweetheart is gone - elk hunting in SE Oregon. The kids and grandkids will be away. My dear, little mother and I will go to my cousin's home for Thanksgiving. It's the first time in many years that I haven't done the cooking with everyone here.

Oh, my goodness... I won??!! That is such fun... and thank you, very much, Marilyn! This is exciting... I look forward to the book. I will email you my address. BEAUTIFUL chrysanthemums... Since we wont' be Stateside for Thanksgiving, but will be for Christmas instead, my hubby & I plan a quiet Thanksgiving for two this year. A simple duck breast with wild rice and brussells sprouts, I think. But definitely my homemade pumpkin pie--gotta have that! ;o) Wishing you & yours a very happy & blessed Thanksgiving, Marilyn. What a great shot—I love the lighting on this one! And yes, I'll be spending time with both sides of the family—and I plan to work on tea-themed stitching every free moment I get. Can't wait!

Oh, I'm so glad Tracy won! She'll love it! (And I adore visiting her wonderful blog!).

Lovely photo, very beautiful!

The weekend -- dinner with friends today, Saturday a visit to Toledo to see Rick's aunt and cousins. In-between, art, I hope. Low profile shopping -- venturing out only to get the Gypsy some cat food and MAYBE go to Michael's or JoAnn's! Can you tell what's on my mind?!
