Simple Pleasures

A parade is a simple pleasure, especially when it marches right by a favorite ice cream shop.
Two pleasures in one!

Or a ride on a pony fashioned on a shopping cart.
Oh the dreams that sit there.

Or maybe sitting by the river tossing rocks.

Then again a simple walk through the woods.
Simple pleasures are all around us if we just take the time to look with our heart.
Look for the simple pleasures today and share them with those close by.

Don't forget to leave a comment on Monday's post for a give-away of words.

I love all the simple pleasures you have shared. From community life to solitude, each shares moments of joy and delight in life. We just have to look for those places and spaces in daily life -- taking time to contemplate them.

That is the most inventive and wonderful pony on a shopping cart. It is very hipster (as are the folks in the photo).

Hopped over from Vanessa's blog and so happy I did! Portland surely is what Heaven must look like. **sigh** Just noticed your pray for cancer cure; I am SO in.

The older I get, the more I believe that *simple* pleasures are truly the *best* pleasures -- and they are around us in abundance!
