Friday Poetry and Give Away

It's All in the Process

When brewing tea,
One desires exceptional quality.
How one gets to that end
Depends upon the means.

And so it is with life.
What would you brew yourself to be?
A woman of truth?
A man of peace?

Whatever outcome you desire,
You may simply brew yourself to be.

~Earlene Grey

If you have made a bitter pot of tea,
throw it out.
Life is too important to drink bad tea.

~Earlene Grey

In the fall I said I would have a give away
of some tea books.
For some reason time passed me by
and here it is the end of winter.
So here we are finally a give away.
One lump sum, everything in the picture to one lucky person.
Please leave me a comment to "enter me"
and make sure if your sign in doesn't link to
you then leave an email and name so I can find you.

Good luck!  I will announce the winner next Friday.

Happy weekend, dear friends!

Please "enter me" in your tea book drawing. Love the poems. ESPECIALLY love the photo. It's so beautiful in all white. Just lovely. I always enjoy your photography.

Enter me. I love your blog. I have family in Portland that I don't get to visit very often because I live on the east coast. Reading your post every day makes me feel closer to them. I will be visiting the Green Bean bookstore the next time I visit. Thank you.

I've always enjoyed Earleen's quotes and have used them occasionally myself. This is a generous book and magazine giveaway Marilyn, if you'd be mailing to Canada as well, I'll throw my name in the hat please.
I'm working on starting a tea group in our community and they'd come in handy.

I just love the white flowers and that pretty china - the cup is such an unusual shape.
Someone will be very lucky to win those great looking tea books Marilyn - can never have enough recipes for tea! Today I missed my afternoon cuppa as we were on the road south to Charlotte to visit friends.

Have great weekend - we may get snow, rather late in winter, and hopefully not causing us a problem getting home on Sunday.

I love both quotes, but especially the first one. Something to read and remember daily! I also love the photo. I have a Dundee jam jar, but right now it's holding spoons - will have to remember to try using it to hold flowers, also. Very generous giveaway - I would love to be entered, also.

Please don't enter me (like you, I think, I'm winnowing down the collection of stuff), but I did want to say what a lovely poem and sentiment!

I'm sure I've missed the drawing and as I've seen, I must decline the contest as I'm doing the same as you are in limiting things. But I think your drawing is just wonderful and generous and someone is going to be very, very lucky!

Oh please enter me too Marilyn!
The books look lovely and whoever wins will find much inspiration on the pages within!
My family will be arriving this year and enjoying tea parties with the girls is something I'm looking forward to!
