Winter Tea

Now this is my fantasy winter day, curled up by the fire
with a lovely cup of tea and the cat.
The only thing missing is a good book and a cat.
What would be in your cup?
What book would you be reading?

This morning for me it will be a cup of Yunnan Gold.
I am still trying to finish fictions written with the Christmas
season wrapped in a pretty bow, but soon I will be on
to other fascinating books. And soon there will be the cat too.

Happy winter days~

I like to curl up in bed with a good book and mug of tea. Today I'm drinking Earl Grey and looking through "Color With Confidence" trying to decide what color to paint the great room.

Very Cute. I could do without the cat though. I cup of tea and a good book is my near future. I picked up a book called A Cup of Comfort for Women which has some great stories in it.

We are all excited here about *possibly* getting snow on Thursday, so I hope to be doing exactly like the lady in the cartoon on Thursday! (Minus the cat -- I'm allergic!)

I love that cartoon - so cute! I'm a bit housebound with a cold so I'm hoping to snuggle with the cat (and the dog!), a good cup of tea and a book! At least for awhile. I'm finishing 'A Christmas To Remember' by Thomas Kinkade but not sure what the tea will be today. I keep thinking while I read about Christmas I should drink some Candy Cane Lane tea!

Hope to see you sometime soon.

Hello Dear Marilyn,

How funny the cartoon is.:o) Tea is certainly in my cup and I have several books on my mind at the moment, and looking forward to a wonderful day of reading.

Enjoy your day.:o)

Cute!~

I am just now happily ensconced by the fire with the kitty by my side, only instead of reading,(as you can "see"),I am visiting fellow bloggers and writing comments such as; "have a marvelous and blessed New Year in 2010"!

You are warmly invited to pop over for a visit and "a piping hot cup of tea" any time my dear!..,

Cheers from Wanda Lee @ The Plumed Pen

I usually don't flop down and do the evening TV thing much, however in the unusual freeze conditions we're experiencing here, each evening we light the fire, plop down in the easy chairs and actually watch a movie - and I grab a throw! Last night we watched Australia (wow, I know that Hugh Jackman would keep a gal warm!!) - which was an odd movie but a good history lesson.

Book - reading The Elegance of the Hedgehog, very different!

Are you really getting a cat? Wonderful - I miss mine so much, she was 21, wold love another, perhaps two, but dh doesn't agree because we travel often!

Happy day dear - I'm off to the dentist in the deep freeze then MUST finish packing away Christmas!
