Garden Quotes 2019

Working in the garden gives me something beyond
enjoyment of the senses...
It gives me a profound feeling of inner peace.
There is no rush toward accomplishment, no blowing of trumpets.
Here is the great mystery of life and growth.
Everything is changing, growing, aiming at something,
but silently, unboastfully, taking its time.
~Ruth Stout
It is definitely crocus and daffodil season in my garden now.

Speaking of the blowing of trumpets, that daffodil kind of looks like a trumpet. And the crocuses are so pretty. I love that picture of the windowpane and the flower, Marilyn. So unique.

A happy week to you.

Oh, this is NICE! The process of gardening is so soothing... it really is work of the moment, and a good gateway to mindfulness. Gardening has a lot of spiritual qualities, which I love. I'm sooo looking forward to when we're really thawed here and can get back out into the garden! :) Happy Week, Marilyn ((HUGS))

Such a beautiful time of year, the daffodils are blooming in my garden too. Sadly the winds are blowing a gale so I am hoping they won't be damaged.

Hard to beat the golden daffodils at this time of year - I'm finding myself just stopping and staring at them through the windows much of the day - so bright and beautiful!

Happy special week Marilyn!

So LOVELY! I actually saw green daf sprouts in my yard so that's promising (despite snow predictions). I think it'll be awhile before they look anything so lovely as yours! Three cheers!
