A Quiet Place

A quiet place, a time to commune with nature and talk to God.
A special time alone is sometimes needed.
Recently I spent the day here in this quiet place.
Do you make opportunity for quiet times?
Sometimes I forget to do it and my heart longs for a time of refreshment.
Take time today for refreshment.

I have a special place in my yard Marilyn, on the swing that once sat by my father's garden. I find peace there, and spend my time talking to both him, and my heavenly Father. It brings me the peace I need to get through.

What a beautiful photo collage you have created. I can easily see communing with God in such a lovely place.

For me, I enjoy time with the Lord in my formal livingroom/tearoom/parlor. It is where I take tea in the afternoons as well. It is feminine and beautiful, very calming to the soul and beautifying to the spirit.

Happy day,
Patti

I have a few quiet places - some near home and some away. I often find a quiet place in my trailer that sits beside the drive. No one knows I'm there, I don't take my cell phone - or my dog - and I just have quiet time. Sometimes I take a nap there! Where is this wonderful place you went? It's beautiful!

Luscious mosaic you created here, Marilyn. Silence has become the most precious commodity of all. This green haven looks like it's rich with silence.

Honest to goodness, I looked at this collage and thought, "HEAVENLY!" and then I read your words and realized I wasn't far off! (I've been on deadline this week and greatly NEED a quiet place to go to right now!!!)

I like to make time for days like this too. The place you are sharing with us is beautiful.
It truly refreshes the spirit.

Oh, Marilyn... This is just what I needed. A moment's respite in the beauty of nature... My greatest JOY right now is that my father is still alive. He has had two heart attacks since last week and other complications. He is holding steady though. We may need to travel home though... we await news day.I have written a bit about this at my place. Life, the gift of life is the greatest JOY! ((HUGS))
