Merry Christmas!

Like strands of shining tinsel,

Hope will ever weave

Through his sorrow, who remembers

Candles Christmas Eve.

His tongue will not grow bitter

Who learns in youth the glory

Of the old sweet Christmas carols

And the manger story.

Nor love and faith quite vanish

For one with memories

Of dreams come true on laden,

Star-tipped Christmas trees.

So fill the house with fragrance

Of cedar boughs, with laughter-

These are gifts a child heart

Will keep forever after.

This is the loveliest photo, Marilyn. Your gifts all wrapped up for loved ones look so pretty under the Christmas tree. I love how you put RED bows on them all. There's just something about red at Christmastime. I LOVE getting gifts and I LOVE giving them. To see the look on the face of the person who wanted just what I gave them is exciting. And to get something I've been wanting is a blessing. I am wearing the red plaid pajamas that Nel got me for Christmas. And I can't wait to open the other presents on Christmas day. So sweet that you donated a bag of socks to your church. That is one of the things that is much needed. Your photo of the Christmas tree on the table and all the presents is wonderful. It makes me smile.

Have a merry Christmas week, dear Marilyn.
