Qualities of a Woman

Drawing the Qualities of a Woman

If you want to get the
Best from a woman,
Treat her as you would
Treat fine tea.
House her well.
Appreciate her delicate properties.
Put her to your lips often and
Savour her enhancing qualities.
~Susan Patterson (Earlene Grey)

Dear Friends,
May your weekend be blessed.
If you are a mother may you be treated kindly.
For all here, breathe and savour each and every day.
Stop a moment, sip a cup of the good tea, and nibble on something sweet.

Cookies in the French teacup are French Sables with lilac blossoms.

Happy weekend, dear friends!

All men should heed those words! Love them.
Gorgeous cup and saucer - perfect with such French cookies.

Hoping your Mother's Day is a good one dear. I will head over to my daughter Kim's this afternoon for a little social distancing in her garden - with snacks and a glass of wine of course! We are taking her two Knockout rose bushes to plant- one red one pink - as she is starting to enjoy being a gardener at long last! She ventured away from her house yesterday for the first time to grocery shop - after being locked down for 9 weeks! She works from home thankfully so still makes a paycheck!

Happy day - Mary x

Marilyn, I love this verse about the qualities of a woman. And that tea cup with the gold rim is gorgeous. The French tea cookies look tasty. I could really use a nice hot cup of tea right now, as I just had a move from northern Calif. to southern Calif. to be close to my daughter. : )
